We found the pools to be perfect size for one person in each pool. Deep enough to soak up to the neck. A 3 hour return side trip from the north huranui springs (without packs). No sandflys (unlike the Huranui springs!!!) warren, kaiapoi, NZ

Itand#8217;s in the west branch and is marked on the NZ topo map site. URL above. The track goes pretty much right by the hot pools.
