The heat for these pools is managed through the natural thermal activity that occurs in the area, so after heavy rainfall the pool temperatures can be affected. These pools are on highway 7 and just a few kms after you enter the Lewis Pass highway. If you are coming from christchurch it is on the right handside of the road. Rachael, NewZealand
