A beautiful pool with its own silica terraces, surrounded by native plantings. The water is a stunning blue colour with a silky feel. Uses separated water from the Wairakei geothermal project, to recreate something like the pink and white terraces. Quite pricy, but gorgeous, and well worth the visit. Alana Delich, Taupo/New Zealand
