There are several small hot pools in the natural thermal stream. The first is shallow (30cm) and is ideal for kids and protected with a trellis and vines from the sun. The end one has a small waterfall and is waist deep. All are natural and part of the stream. There are a few others along the stream, and the temperature ranges from 38 Deg C at one end, to 28 Deg C at the other, dependant on the time of year. Jim, New Zealand

It is about 40km from Rotorua, and 35km from Taupo on State Highway 5. Located right alongside the highway and canand#8217;t be missed. Well signposed on the road. Jim, New Zealand
